working in them, The Slough Chamber Awards 2011 celebrates
the very best of Slough’s most successful businesses.
The Rules
The Chamber Awards are free to enter and are open to all businesses based within the SL postcode area.
Entries are treated in confidence.
All entries must be electronic.
Supporting information is not permitted unless it forms part of the entry document e.g. testimonials. A maximum of 5 insertions (e.g. tables, graphs or photos) may be included within the entry form. Please be aware that any website links used within your entry will not be activated by the judges. Supplementary information may be requested at national judging level.
Please note the maximum word count for any entry is 2000 words. This word count limit does NOT include the questions. The maximum file size for any entry is 500KB. If your entry exceeds this word count or file size it will be disqualified by the judges.
Entrants may be asked for staff or customer testimonials.
Entries will be judged at by an independent and impartial panel of judges. The initial stage will be a regional judging panel from which the winners will be put forward to national judging.
Award winners will be announced at the Awards gala dinner on the 24th March 2011.
Entry to more than one category is allowed.
Applicants must be authorised to enter their organisation into the awards programme.
Entries should be in English and should be produced using a word processor. All entries must be checked for spelling and grammar.
Incomplete entries will not be judged.
All entries will be acknowledged on receipt. Entry forms will become the property of the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group (TVCCG) and entries will not be returned.
Proof of sending entry (by email) is not proof of receipt by the TVCCG or its agents.
Winning entries will be publicised. Applicants are responsible for making appropriate arrangements.
The Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group reserves the right to withdraw an award from any applicant supplying false information within their entry. Judges reserve the right to audit any information supplied.
The closing date for entries is the February 28th 2011
The judges’ decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
No employee of the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group or Chambers of Commerce shall be entitled to enter.
